User App Installation:

Q1: How can I install the webapp version (Progressive Web App (PWA))?

A1: Here are the steps to install PWA on both IOS and Android Devices:

For Android Devices:

Step 1: Open Your Browser

  • Open the web browser on your Android device (Google Chrome is recommended for the best experience).

Step 2: Visit the Quicky Website

  • Type the URL of Quicky's web app into the browser's address bar and navigate to the site. (login.quicky.cafe)

Step 3: Add to Home Screen

  • Once the website loads, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the browser to open the menu.

  • From the dropdown menu, select “Add to Home screen.”

  • You may be prompted to enter a name for the shortcut; you can keep it as “Quicky” for easy recognition.

Step 4: Confirm Installation

  • Tap “Add” or “Install” when prompted.

  • The Quicky icon will now appear on your home screen, similar to how a regular app does.

Step 5: Access Quicky

  • Tap on the Quicky icon from your home screen to open and use the app as you would any other.

  • Accept locations services and notification prompts

For iOS Devices:

Step 1: Open Safari Browser

  • Open the Safari browser on your iOS device. (Other browsers on iOS may not support adding a PWA to the home screen).

Step 2: Visit the Quicky Website

  • Enter the URL of Quicky’s web app in Safari's address bar. (login.quicky.cafe)

Step 3: Share Menu

  • Once the website is fully loaded, tap the share icon (a square with an arrow pointing out) at the bottom of the Safari browser.

Step 4: Add to Home Screen

  • In the share menu, scroll through the available options and select “Add to Home Screen.”

  • You can then name the shortcut, ideally as “Quicky.”

Step 5: Finalize Installation

  • Tap “Add” in the top right corner of the screen.

  • The Quicky icon should now appear on your iOS device’s home screen.

Step 6: Use Quicky

  • Simply tap on the Quicky icon on your home screen to start using the app.

Additional Tips:

  • Update Prompt: Occasionally, when you open the PWA, you might be prompted to update. This is a simple process where the app refreshes to ensure you have the latest version.

  • Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection during the installation process.

  • Browser Compatibility: While Chrome and Safari are recommended for Android and iOS respectively, other browsers like Firefox might also support PWA installation with similar steps.
